We understand that not every activity will suit everyone, which is why choice is at the heart of our approach. Residents are encouraged to join in when they feel like it, knowing that our programme always offers something enjoyable for everyone.

The services, environment, and lifestyle provided at Clarence Park Care Home have been thoughtfully created to ensure our residents’ wellbeing, fostering comfort, contentment, and a strong sense of belonging. We passionately believe in empowering our residents to live life their way, and we go to great lengths to assist them in achieving this.
We’ve developed strong links with many members of our local community and as a result, we are able to give our residents opportunities to visit local churches, schools and nurseries. Our neighbours are kind and considerate, and take great pleasure in forming connections with our residents.
We like to ensure that we have a main form of entertainment scheduled weekly, with our Activities Coordinators also organising events in the home and day trips throughout the week. We welcome an array of class acts such as performers and instructors, and often welcome back our residents’ favourites time and time again.
We put great effort into getting to know our residents on a personal level to ensure we can accommodate their every need. For instance, for our more creatively inclined residents, we host arts and crafts sessions and writing clubs, we host film nights, and for our more adventurous residents, we take regular trips to local attractions. No matter how much our residents wish to participate and socialise, we have a wide range of 1:1 and group activities to choose from. We listen intently to the needs and interests of our residents and always welcome suggestions for new activities.
We aim to create a setting where everyone feels at home. Residents can enjoy our spacious lounge areas, elegant dining areas, well-kept and landscaped garden, an onsite Hair salon and fully en-suite bathrooms. Our Activities Co-ordinator is on hand to organise and deliver a varied schedule, including trips out to the seaside and local community groups, along with visits from local theatrical companies and animal sanctuaries.
We provide a wide range of care services at our Weston-super-Mare Care Home, including both short-term and long-term care. Life in our nursing home is quite the opposite of what many people often expect. Moving from your own home to a nursing home shouldn’t mean losing your independence or control over your life. Each resident’s dignity and self-esteem are of up most importance to us. That’s why we place everyone’s choices, needs and interests at the centre of their care.
