Whether it’s painting, knitting or simply colouring in a calm setting, arts and crafts bring comfort, fulfilment and plenty of fun to our community.
At Clarence Park Care Home in Weston-super-Mare, creativity knows no boundaries, which is why our arts & crafts activities are thoughtfully designed for all skill levels. From complete beginners to experienced hobbyists and artists, residents are encouraged to participate at their own pace, with guidance and gentle support always available from our friendly team.
Here at Clarence Park, we love to celebrate and showcase the many talents of our residents. Artwork and creations are often displayed around the home, bringing colour and personality to our shared spaces, while also providing a sense of accomplishment and joy for those who took part.
The services, environment, and lifestyle provided at Clarence Park Care Home have been thoughtfully created to ensure our residents’ wellbeing, fostering comfort, contentment, and a strong sense of belonging. We passionately believe in empowering our residents to live life their way, and we go to great lengths to assist them in achieving this.
Our arts and crafts sessions are open to anybody who wishes to participate. We aim to cater to every skillset and ability within our activities, and although these programmes are aimed at our residents, their family members are welcome to attend. The more the merrier.
Our dedicated team here at Clarence Park will provide all the required art supplies for the activity at hand, but if you feel you’d like to be even more adventurous, you can of course bring in any other art items you believe would be beneficial.
There are many things you can make at our regular arts and crafts events. Residents and free to, and encouraged to make whatever you like.
We aim to create a setting where everyone feels at home. Residents can enjoy our spacious lounge areas, elegant dining areas, well-kept and landscaped garden, an onsite Hair salon and fully en-suite bathrooms. Our Activities Co-ordinator is on hand to organise and deliver a varied schedule, including trips out to the seaside and local community groups, along with visits from local theatrical companies and animal sanctuaries.
We provide a wide range of care services at our Weston-super-Mare Care Home, including both short-term and long-term care. Life in our nursing home is quite the opposite of what many people often expect. Moving from your own home to a nursing home shouldn’t mean losing your independence or control over your life. Each resident’s dignity and self-esteem are of up most importance to us. That’s why we place everyone’s choices, needs and interests at the centre of their care.
